Description

F 1.8, 1/250 sec, ISO 1600. I went on a hummingbird banding trip this year as I usually do every year, but this was the first time with my canon 40D. I loved all the pictures but this one taken with a fixed canon 50mm lens with a quantaray 10x close up lens was on the top of my favs list. So, I hope you guys enjoy this and like it as much as I do.

Exif: F Number: 6.3, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/500 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 1250, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 50.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 40D

Beautiful image - great color and details.

I am curious to know how far were you from the subject to get this sort of feather detail. My understanding was that micro filters are bad your image clearly indicates to the contrary. #7577843

Rakesh, I was about 3 inches from the subject. I also cant recall the last time I had trouble with a macro filter. So, I don't know what to tell you. #7577940
