WOW!!! Terrific observation, SSSLaura. I too have a fascination for clouds and this is a beauty. Excellent capture with beautiful colors and textures.
And - eh - trying not to be paranoid - but when we visited Roswell, NM a few years ago we had a cloud - formed like a big HAT - following us ALL the way to El Paso. It stayed at the same distance from our car as we were driving. It never looked like anything but a cloud but from Roswell to El Paso is a long way!!! A few miles outside El Paso it vaporised!!!! #7518344

Very beautiful capture Laura!! I must say though that I don't believe in UFOS since there is no hard scientific evidence that they exist, unlike Bigfoot, the Chupicabra, Leprechauns, Moth Men, Nellie, Woodland Fairies, Ghosts and the New Jersey Devil. On a serious note, on one of my trips out West I wound up in Roswell and decided to do the museum they have in the old movie theatre. One thing that suprised me was how many high ranking officers up to a Lt. General had sworn statements that something strange occured there. #7518485

I love you guys. You are so fun!

I could tell you a story you might or might not believe...in fact two of them. One was also of a strange cloud that I really feel something BIG was hiding in, and the others were balls of light chasing each other at incredible speeds out in the desert while on I-10 in Az or NM on a very dark night. Close to area 51.
