4.1 LICHEN COMMUNITY
Description: Canon 100 Macro,100mm,1/2 sec,f/22,ISO 100,0 EV,flash did not fire,on tripod,used mirror lockup,remote releaseThis is a detail of an old rotting stump along my driveway that is covered with lichen. I saw this as a symbol of new life coming from the dead stump. It was a light overcast evening, with the light coming from the front right. A small reflector was used to add fill light to the left side of the stump.
