Description

ELGOL, SKYE, SCOTLAND. I was assisting some Russian photographers at Glencoe and Skye. The notorious Skye weather surpassed itself with a fiery crimson glow as though the Cuillin themselves were cut and bleeding. I haven't burned film like that for ages and this time I scouted and found the most glorious foreground feature to point the way toward the best mountain backdrop in Scotland. Pentax 67II, 45mm lens, 0.6ND hard edge grad, f/22 at 20 seconds.
