Very eye-catching with the bright blue interspersed with the wheat! #7325122

Thank you so much ladies. I won't get into the argument of "creationism" versus "evolution", but with beauty like this you might guess I believe in a Creator and I thank Him for every wonderful day.

Very nice, Peter. Looks like it might be a Monthly Theme entry -- these cornflowers certainly seem to be thriving among the wheat. #7326013

Thanks Nikki. And wouldn't you just know it- my wife wants to take credit for this image! She reminds me that I was so absorbed in looking at an old barn that I hadn't even noticed the field of flowers and wheat at my feet until she pointed it out. Oh well, that's what happens when one is married to a successful artist.
Have a blessed day. Pete #7326425

I'm going out on a limb here, I don't like this photo. I think the color is too high and there is no subject. It's just a bunch of flowers caught inside the frame. #7649040

"Just a bunch of flowers!" Ha! That's like saying Van Gough's "Sunflowers" is just a bunch of yellow stuff. It's a good job you're my friend Meggers old girl!!
I am thinking I might need to get a color calibrator for my monitor; my wife complains about me over-saturating images and now you! Fortunately, I can take it otherwise I might be tempted to rid myself of wife and friend.
Seriously though Meghan, I wish more folk would give an honest opinion and suggest how they might have captured the image.
