Chant Before Mass
Uploaded: March 17, 2009
Resubmission. Shooting an architectural image without a shift lens is challenging. If you have to shoot it for HDR with moving people in the scene, it's doubly challenging. Here, a group of priests appeared and started chanting before an evening mass. They stood up and walked during the chanting. I just had to wait until they settled in the same position for four different exposures. As a result, I got a stage-like image unlike my usual empty church scene.
Photographed with Tokina 12-24mm lens.
Location: St. Dominic's Catholic Church, San Francisco, CA
Exif: ISO: 100, FocalLength: 13.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 40D

I still don't understand how you got the perfect clarity with four images taken at different "sittings." But it is magnificent work! #7297908Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
