Great eye to catch this wonderful image Patricia, very well done and the lighting is perfect for this shot. #1095956

Thanks, Ron...it's crazy, no? These critters have found an opening in our home somewhere and convene nightly on the chadelier! I would say they are thriving!!
Thanks for the nice compliment!

Wow, Patti, I've never seen so many ladybirds in one location before. I can never find one in the garden when I want to take a photo and you've got so many in your home! Love the image with its tones, lighting and, of course, subjects! #7269428

I know...I used to like them, but they have taken over!!! Not sure why...need to look into it. Anyway...thanks for the compliment, Bev...I appreciate it!

Spectacular lighting...AWESOME image and very well presented! #7280540

So they have invaded your home too. I vacuum them up everywhere. Someone told me that they were purposefully introduced to eat some other pest and they have taken over. Despite that tirade, it is a wonderful shot. #7321059

Thank you very much Eugenio and Carol! Yes, Carol...they have...I'm their guest it sometimes seems!

Oh, look at that! They must have been tucked away somewhere near the fixture for the winter. Every spring there's a mass migration across the screen of my porch, but it hasn't begun quite yet. I love to watch them on the move and during the winter try to gently place those that kind of "come to" inside the house so they won't be harmed. #7388739

Mitch...it is not fun when you almost eat them when they fall into your food, though! I don't kill them, but sure do shoo them away...they crawl all over my computer screen, too! #7489925

Hi Patricia,
This has to be one of the best 'story telling shots' I've ever seen!!! I love this and your amazing Caption!
Guess what I first thought...(when I saw your small thumbnail shot)?
First, I looked at your caption, thought for a moment... if the thumbnail pic will compliment your caption. Hey, guess what I saw... A tower with those little red and yellow 'elevator cars' going up and down.... then, to my surprise... it's EXACTLY like your CAPTION... COOL, if I may say so!!!

That's really funny, Christine! These are their little elevators, of sorts, I guess you could say...all heading to the convention on finding light! :) #7530807
