A kettle of Black Vultures circles daily on thermals in the skies over New Hope, Pennsylvania, and then roosts on its rooftops. On this day, this small group stood atop the famous Bucks County Playhouse.
----------
There were hundreds of them, either soaring above, or watching from the taller buildings--church steeples, hotels... Vulture poop can be seen EVERYWHERE, like whitewash adhering to the bricks and slates of rooftops in this beautiful riverside artist's colony!

Beautiful capture with wonderful colors and tones Michelle!! My best friend spent this summer working in PA and he told me in places it was like something out of the birds. We have them here but have more Turkey vultures and they seem content to roost in trees. #1095165

Oh, "kettle" is what a group of vultures is called. How interesting. The framing is perfect, and so are the effects. One time, here at the lake, there was a house under construction. On it, perhaps 30 vultures had come to rest. I though6, oh, bad omen maybe, might want to think about moving in there. :) #7272480

Terrific color, clarity, detail and composition in this image, Michelle.
Vultures on a Playhouse, that can't be a good sign. I don't know what was playing but it must have been a real stinker.
