We had the pleasure of going White Water Rafting with our daughter-in-law, Kelly, six years ago. My husband was afraid I would be thrown out. I was determined to stay in the raft, which I did. There were a few that were thrown from the raft. One poor lady kept going under and they had a hard time reaching her because at the same time they were helping a man back into the raft. The lady asked to be let out at the nearest place, which they did and never got back in. I had my foot wedged in and at times would hold on for dear life. I loved the experience and would do it again.
I used a disposable water camera.

My first question, after reading your description is how did you keep your camera dry during this experience, Roxanne? The boiling water and raft look great in black and white!! #1090142Roxanne M. Bubar February 27, 2009

Roxanne- The story in itself was such a thrill to read and then you back the story up with this beautiful black and white visual of what it was like. Stunning action shot and way to hang in there like a true photographer under those conditions. Love the title and the way they are helping that poor soul out of the water. Spectacular work my dear friend.Shelly A. Van Camp March 02, 2009
