Snarls

Description

I find it such a challenge to get behavioral shots of animals, particularly when two or more are interacting. So I was delighted to capture this moment between the lion male and female.

Taken at the Denver Zoo with the Canon 70-200IS lens at f/3.5, 1/640 sec.

Sharp, well-composed, and extraordinary interaction... Knowing how hard it is to catch such animal-moments, you have my vote for first. #1439471
