The dreamy look creates an impression of motion - at least for my eye. A great angle and crop, Bernard!

My heartfelt thanks Wolfgang and Cathy. I've got several more of these crane shots I'll submit in the future. They are of four of these impressive pieces of heavy equipment setting together in a large auto body repair yard on the Everett waterfront. They've got these incredible large boom arrays with this wonderful yellow color. I was shooting them and there were people watching me from the offices, I'm sure, wondering what I was doing. They let me finish, however, with no difficulty. I think I was more of an attraction than a nuisance. In any case, I'm glad you guys like them. Again, thanks. #51577

Wow BT, I love the blurry filter on this...and the composition makes this a winner for sure! Congrats on your finalists! #62724

Thank you much DN. I thought the dreamy look might add an additional, though unexpected, accent to something thought generally to be masculine or macho. In my wife's words, "even ocean liners or B1 bombers can be cute." #62732
