Description

I got lucky. The gun crew was being filmed late afternoon for a documentary, and I got to sit in. There are 2 challenges to this shot. Firstly, and with the exception of this instance, it is pretty well impossible to get a clean background without tourists - even in the low season. Secondly freezing the smoke appropriately. Initially it covers most things in the scene, but dissipates very quickly. This was the 3rd shot in a 6 shot burst. You had difficulty seeing the crew on the second shot, and by the 5th the smoke was essentially gone. Really happy about the dynamic posture of the gun crew. As I said - lucky.
