Description

Curious to see how this one is received. It was shot (lying on the ground)with a wide open aperture, focused on the bayonet/rifle, which as a consequence is all that is sharply focused. The individuals face (which is normally the focal point of a shot) is therefore deliberately blurred. But if you had a bayonet in your face - what would you be focused on? If I did it again I'd be tempted to have the sun directly behind him, and accept the sky would be completely blown out.
