Hi Kerby,
Thanks so much for the nice comments ... I appreciate it!! - Kerry

P.S.: Incidentally, there was one key issue that I faced when making this image: It was snowing! Some tips and thoughts when shooting in light rain and snow:
- Use a lens hood - great all-around protection for a lens, as well as for helping to prevent glare from sunlight.
- A filter can keep rain drops or snow flakes off your lens glass, but beware of possible vignetting if you're combining a filter and hood on an extreme-wide-angle lens.
- An absorbent cloth - i.e., a chamois (chammy) - is ideal for soaking up waterdrops on the camera body and the lens body (not the glass).
- A lens cloth - i.e., microfiber - or lens tissue can be used on the lens front (glass).
- Rain covers: For a do-it-yourself solution, try a showercap (such as the kind found in hotel rooms) or a plastic bag (just don't cover the lens itself). But I prefer one of the stronger, commercially-made rain hoods (brands include Laird, which I use, plus Tenba, Kata, and others). #1439089
