Exercise In Feeding The Birds

Uploaded: January 31, 2009

Description

After our last storm of 15 inches of snow even feeding the birds is an adventure. I now need to put on my snowshoes to venture out in our yard. Our picnic table and a bench is buried under all the snow. It is right about where the shadow of the tree is. We are fortunate though as last year at this time we had 97.6 inches of snow and we only have 78.6 inches. LOL
Have a wonderful day. :)

Great capture Roxanne. I think maybe it was you last year who posted a picture after the snow had melted just enough to show one corner of your picnic table. Bill #7112342

I love the watercolour look, makes it all look a lot gentler than it must be in real life - I'll remember this image the next time it snows here (which it hardly ever does) : ) -mm #7114990

Gee, Roxanne, only 78.6 inches of snow...that is practically tropical :) It is hard to imagine that much snow and I am DEFINITELY going to stop whining about the weather here :) I know your little birds appreciate you thinking of them! Great shot!
