Description

In this the first of the 3 Wisconsin images I was seeking to have the ship itself dominant. The late afternoon sun only illuminates the far buildings, which I feel helps to emphasize the imposing grey structure of the ship. I was looking to get some tension in the composition with the off center positioning, and the ships scale is emphasized by having it head on. By this time in the day the masthead US flag has been run down.
