Watching
Uploaded: January 26, 2009
Something bold and different for me. Reminds me of the song lyric, "I always feel like somebody's watching me."
I'm trying to take an SP a day this entire year (missed one day already - darn!). Anyhow, it's a little more difficult than I thought to not be completely boring and take the same shot all the time. And, this day, with no make up, I was NOT feeling particularly beautiful. I do however, usually like my eyes. Well, I took the shot intentionally close, but did crop a bit. Then, I could not stand all the wrinkles (when did I get so old?). So, I started messing with healing brush, gaussian blur, airbrush filter. Well, before trashing the whole idea, I decided - hey - how about a texture! If you can't beat the wrinkles - then make the most of them! So, I applied a texture layer and blended to taste. Voila! Different - but, it's me!

Cool shot and quite a compelling year-long assignment for you. Good for you. Tee hee - good idea Debbie, and I have several days with "extras", but that's cheating. It goes against my OCD grain...Thank you both for the congratulations and for your support and encouragement! #7098486
