Fire Poi Butterfly

Uploaded: January 18, 2009

Description

Here’s a time-lapse photo of fire poi (or flaming balls which are constructed from chain and a kevlar wick soaked in kerosene) capturing what appears to be a “Butterfly”, a combination of visually impressive moves in which the poi artist creates circles around the body while spinning the fire poi. Taken with a handheld DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera set at ISO 400 and f/16 using a wide-angle zoom lens (12 to 24). Entered into the “Elements of Design” category.

Exif: Flash: did not fire., ISO: 400, Model: DSLR
