Cold Wave Ends Today
Uploaded: January 18, 2009
Photo taken of my bird bath. Last year at this time the snow was up to the top of it. I use it as a bird feeder in the winter. LOL
So far this year we have only had 59.5 inches compared to 85 last winter.
Cold wave ends today, as snow arrives. Forecast 5-8 inches of snow.

Roxanne, I can't imagine enduring the weather that ya'll have; beautiful to look at but I'd much rather experience it through your lovely images versus out my window!! :) #7047863Gord MacEachern January 18, 2009

We have had a roller coaster ride on this weather thing here in MO, a week ago we were at -4F, I just came back from a two mike walk in 49 degree weather. We got rid of most of our 2 inches yesterday and today. Your countryside looks a lot like ours. #7048429Stephen Zacker January 18, 2009
Like the way the shadows lead you into the image. We have had a fairly mild winter here in Co. #7048956Mary K. Robison January 18, 2009
I'm trying to imagine how you survived last winter's heavy snows, Roxanne. It makes me shiver when I see so much white surrounding your birdbath...Kitty R. Rodehorst-Hanna January 18, 2009
Beautiful in this image, Roxanne!!!! :-) k #7049265Teresa Burnett January 18, 2009
Wonderful capture, Roxanne!! Love all the blue tones, and the shadows are great!! I used my big deck flower pots to feed the birds when we had so much snow. We usually only get a few inches and a day or two later its gone, but not this year! This year it was up to the top of the pots (somewhere over 2 feet) and I had to keep scraping it out of the pots so the birds could eat. Sure hope we are done with snow for this winter! #7049487Kirsten Kiki Kjaer January 18, 2009

Thanks for this capture of the snow. I need to write or you can message me. How do you get around like to your feeder with the snow is up to the top. I wonder how you drive your cars up there. Bill #7053130Susie Peek-Swint January 19, 2009
