Wow, Karen - this is gorgeous!! :-) Phil and I have visited Victoria from NSW in the past, but haven't been up into the high country - we must do that one day soon!! ;-) Where is Mt Stirling near? All the best in the competition, Karen... :-) #224023

Thank you every one for your comments, much appreciated.

Carloyn....Mt Stirling is the next mountain next to Mt Buller, which is one of Vic's most popular ski fields,With Masfield being its closest town.

This photo was taken from "Craigs Hut" which was originaly built for the filming of "The Man from Snowy River" made back in the 80's. The day I visited we got rained in and we were trapped in the hut until it cleared. We couldnt see past the low lying cloud that had moved in. This shot was taken as the mist was rising. I didnt get the type of landscape shots I had set out for but was rewarded with some great moody mist shots!

I see you are from the land of OZ too! I also had a look through your gallery. You have some wonderful shots, but I think your sunsets are just awesome. Keep up the great work!

MANY congratulations on your Finalist for this great image, Karen - most deserved! I'm sure we'll see many more of your photographs in the finals in future... :-)

Thanks for your return comment above...about Mt. Stirling - and, for your very complimentary remarks about my gallery images! Sunrises and sunsets are definitely a couple of my favourite shots to attempt to capture! :-) #1286846
