This is an emulsion on mica which was collaged and then bolted onto nickel silver. The image is of my grandmother when she was a junior in high school (1939)and a member of the homecoming court. I tore off the bottom of the emulsion because I hadn't rinsed all of the gel off and it turned the white dress a strange color that didn't match the rest of the emulsion. I had another image of her that I liked even better, but I dropped a bit of glue near the face and of course couldn't l
