Brothers

Description

------------
Two of my "Steps!" Even in middle-age, these two men live only blocks apart. Their children are best friends. But, OH! can they disagree!
Chum, in the foreground, appears to be rooting for "brother on the left."
Their Dad, and one of their sons can be seen in the mirror above the mantle.

At first glance I thought they were singing a duet. After reading your description I looked again and again and this shot is full of good stuff. Lots and lots of detail; Chum, the fire place, lines, pictures on the mantle. I thought the mirror was a picture too. The mirror is a nice touch as is your name on the little rocker. The best though is the body language and facial expressions of the brothers engaged in verbal combat. The audience seems to be engrossed. Yes, we'll see this again I'm sure. #6870182

Deb Koskovich December 09, 2008

Wow, there is SO much to look at here...you have captured an amazing amount of 'real life' in this shot...I am still staring at it! The focus and tones are absolutely perfectly done, presenting this in sepia was pure genius on your part. It just emphasizes the 'down home' feel of this shot...this goes straight into my faves! #6870243

Behind the scenes note: Later that evening, we had a "contest" to see who could sit down on that little chair, and get up....without taking the chair with them! Guess who almost had to take the chair home! (Well, it wasn't THAT bad...really!)
