"Extra Click" - We Will Never Forget

Uploaded: December 07, 2008

Description

ISO100,Daylight,f/7.1,1/50s,-2/3ev,70-300mm lens at 70mm @@ This was a memorial to 9/11 that I absolutely fell in love with while in the West Village in NYC on Black Friday. There were hundreds of tiles that were hand-decorated with different sayings about 9/11. It was very moving. I wanted to take a low wide-angle shot to get a sense of the sheer number of these tiles hanging up, but unfortunately I was with my girlfriend's friends so I didn't get a chance to take my time like I wanted - or I would have switched to my 24-105mm lens for a wider view. It was so moving in fact that I actually took a picture of the street signs for the cross-roads nearest this place so I can go back alone and take my time. If anyone is going to be in New York City anytime soon, you can email me and I will give you the street names.
