KEEPING TIME IN THE CITY

Description

Yesterday my wife, Linda & I took our grandson, Joey 8, to NYC as part of his birthday present. One of the places we visited was Rockefeller Center, a must during the Christmas season. The famous ice skating rink is surrounded by many interesting decorations and sculptures including several large, beautifully designed and brilliantly painted, statues of musicians from the Rock Center Marching Band.

Colorful image really captures the season - there's nothing like a trip to Rockefeller Center to get you in the Christmas spirit! Your grandson must have had a great day! #1047662

Thanks for the responses and comments guys. Linda & I had a ball in the city with Joey. SHREK THE MUSICAL was hilarious. We love being grandparents and we're very grateful to have been so blessed.
No, we didn't skate. I haven't skated in many, many moons. I take pictures of other people skating now. #6868444

Dynamic image COMWAC.

The statue is placed just right for good impact. Your DOF is perfect. The background buildings give a sense of place but the slight blur keeps attention on the drummer.

Excellent work. #6890618

Thanks Irene. One of the things I like best about your comments is your technical critique. Because of your background as an artist you point out aspects of an image that are reassuring to me. You must be a good teacher. #6890694
