Description

I took this picture while participating in the "Freedom" photo project, and I liked how the three elderly ladies contrast with the three soldiers. I think the photo captures something of the post-Soviet reality, where the elderly are forced to beg because pensions and social welfare are less than during the Soviet period, meanwhile these able-bodied young men are marching to protect that "freedom" that these older people supposedly gained. If that makes any sense...
