Michigan Red

Description

Farm buildings in Michigan are predominantly this red color which makes for a nice contrast against the winter snow! The blue sky with puffy white clouds also add color interest to the scene!

Hi Heather, Can you tell me if you did any image enhancement on this photo at all? I have some photos I want to submit and I am not sure whether or not to apply simple enhancements to digital shots/web shots or not.
thanks #1269480

Heather K. McFarland April 20, 2005

Thanks xenia! Of course I did some image enhancement. I did selective curves adjustments. One curve adjustment for the buildings, one for the sky..and one for the foreground! I also cloned out tree tops that were peeking up over the hill in the background. Digital images need enhancements in order to bring out the best in them!! This site certainly allows enhancements of all types!! #1269730
