Hi Anthony, Jean and Dave...
Thankyou so much, I really appreicate your kind words... I love this shot too.
Out of all the labs I had in my life (as a kid we raised Labs and they were used as hunting dogs) Faye has the smallest nose- when born- she looked like a poodle. (Funny looking to me).
Please check my gallery if you have time!

Hi Christine,

This is my favorite also. I would have never guessed she was only 7 months old here; she has a very wise and compassionate look.

Thank you Pat... she is only 7 months here. When we had to let her go (on our Thanksgiving Sunday- Oct. 12th) she just turned a year old on the 3rd and was 72 pounds.... a big girl!! She will have no problem helping someone that needs to use a wheelchair.
Thanks for popping in my little gallery!!

I'm in the FFFP club for now, Friends for Finer Photography. Thats about the only one I'm able to keep up with, with limited time. I really enjoy that club. They are boldly honest(not a lot of sugar coating),but respectful... but that's how one can improve. Hope to see you on there. I can also send you the think, if you need. If you jump on there, just introduce yourself. #7024194

Christine Lobsinger level-classic January 13, 2009

Thanks for telling me Jamie... I will check your club out when I can... I'm in four clubs (Amateur, Photo Forum, Diss. R Us, and Comedy Relief Clubs)... they keep me quite busy.

Amazing. This one melts my heart. Checked out your gallery. It was a complete pleasure wandering around in there! #7189211

Christine Lobsinger level-classic February 20, 2009

Thank you again, Mary. Hey, did you notice that I did not know how to crop- fix the bottom of this image before I entered it into BP's animal category?
I was so happy they did not mind the large white space at the bottom and gave me an EP anyways...lol...
Christine
SMILING #7189218

Mary A. Legler level-classic February 21, 2009

Actually I did not notice the crop issue, so I looked again. Now I see why I didn't notice. Seeing Faye's legs on the grass, completes the calm, peaceful feeling in her face. It goes from a 'portrait', to a 'moment'. I understand its customary to crop, but I loved it just this way. #7190520

Christine Lobsinger level-classic February 21, 2009

Awww... thank you so much Mary!!!
I did a boo-boo on it and then noticed after I entered her into the contest... so I guess it can't be fixed!
