Split Rock

Uploaded: October 29, 2008

Description

Below Crane Mtn. Adirondacks, NY.

After shooting the trailhead, decided to follow a (mostly dirt) road around to the south.. looked like might be nice views of a pond... which you see here!

Would love to know the story of this rock... was it struck by lightning? May have to come back and ask some locals... :)

What a great find. Perhaps it was the rock splitting fairy...there is one you know. :)

The place looks like a beautiful place to relax. The image makes me want to go there and soak up the views. Lucky you, you actually got to be there. #6701769
