Hey Boris,

Thanks for checking it out! I used to race and coach so cycling is a subject after my own heart! (smile)

I like the tapestry effect, but I think I should have toned the yellow down a bit. I think its a little too bright and makes me squint! (smile)

What do you think?

Jane Summa March 14, 2005

Hi Norm..I missed this one, too??!!!
Well..I think the yellow is good here. I tried to picture it with another color to tone it down a bit but I think it would take away from the "action"..The color keeps your eye going...from front to back. Great choice! usually your first thoughts and first actions are the ones to follow. I LOVE the tapestry effect!! I'm sure this one will be up for consideration..hopefully we'll see it again in a few days!! #1173165

Hey Jane, thanks for taking the time to catch up on my humble works!(big smile)

When I posted this image I felt it might have been too bright! But now after not looking at it for awhile, I kinda like it. I spent many a day riding the pace line just like these guys and it brings back often painful but good memories.

I like this one very much. How did you achieve this effect? #3690464

Norman P. Banks December 11, 2006

Hi Linda,

This image was done awhile back and I didn't keep notes, but if I remember correctly, the texturizer tool - canvas & burlap was used in combination in construction of the image.
