My father had a way with chickadees, too - he'd sit in the sun reading his newspaper with a wide brimed hat containing sunflower seeds that we raised. This is a very cool image! #6624612

These birds just fly down when you stick out your hand, in the winter we feed them sun flower seeds, and usually there are 8 - 10 birds flying around waiting to land on your hand and take a couple of sun flower seeds #6629357
