Let go that rope.
Uploaded: October 17, 2008
My daughter, Stacey was on this plane with 11 workmates on their way to Melbourne (Victoria) for 4 days. The plane was delayed for nearly an hour, I found it amusing that the bloke had to just sit all this time holding the rope, probably so it wouldn't leave before it was told to!!! Lens aperture F/3.2, shutter speed 1/388sec, focal length 19mm, taken at Williamtown (NSW) Airport, at 6pm yesterday.

Too funny to think of the plane trying to take off and him holding it back with the rope! Well taken image with great composition too. #6618451Chris Ebben October 18, 2008
Thank you all for your comments. I have been back to the airport today to pick Stacey up so I asked one of the JetStar crew what the line was for. Tony was right, it is their ground to plane communication, the pilot tells the bloke on the ground when it's OK to bring the passengers out etc. #6620840Z. Banu October 22, 2008
