Description

An ice climber in Keystone Canyon, Valdez, Alaska. I can see where "staying sharp" has a whole different meaning in the world of ice climbing :-)

Thank you, colleen, Paul, Charlene & Janet.

Janet: I was wondering if anyone would ask where I was located :-) This guy didn't have a climbing partner so he was practicing without ropes on an ice covered slope that only went up about 50 feet. He wasn't climbing any higher than 10 - 20 feet so I just walked up and asked him if he would mind if I took some close-up photos. #1082078
