Dominance Flowering Quince

Uploaded: January 28, 2005 10:39:20

Description

The two open flowers dominate due to size, color, contrast and placement. I love the caressing edge lighting on the branch and buds, easy to follow along the principal lines. Is the last bud on the right too bright and distracting? Does the balance with the buds on the left counteract the distraction?

It was interesting as I went through current and past work that I found very few good examples of dominance. That is something to consciously work with going forward.
