Passing By (Grabber Shot)

Description

For this shot I copied your example, Susan and Neil, about the wall in France. Here I was on the island of Burano, in Venice, where all of the buildings are painted in really bright colours. I found this one big, bright orange wall, and planted myself in front of it, and just randomly shot people as they passed by. I liked the effect of the figures being silhouetted/underexposed. shutter speed 1/500, f/11, ISO 100

Exif: F Number: 11, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/500 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 50.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XTi
