Extra Click Description: Carnival ride at night. I thought it would be fun to take some photos at the local Labor Day carnival rides at night using different exposures to see what kind of effects I could come up with. I tried both shorter and longer exposures and while the longer exposures had some really neat effects, the lights were almost too bright on them and weren't as pleasing to me. I used a narrow aperature to try to keep the glare from the lights on a longer exposure down. This was my favorite one of all of them. I really enjoyed this experiment and had a really hard time deciding which to submit. Taken at about 915 pm, camera in manual mode, f 22, 1 sec shutter speed, ISO 1600, WB manual, fluorescent, tripod used, no flash. Uploaded on 9/6/2008 1:07:10 PM
