Vulture Over Grand Canyon

Uploaded: January 18, 2005 09:54:30

Description

This was taken in the bright sun and heat of a summer afternoon at the Grand Canyon. The backdrop to the colorful canyon was a white rather boring sky so I substituted a more dramatic sky from another canyon photo I took later in the day. After that I added the vulture taken at another park in Nevada.

Great capture! I love how we're seeing this from the bird's level, and we can see all that space of the canyon beneath him. It's easy to put oneself into the bird's place and image flying and the freedom of it. #209919
