This will be my last posting until some time in September. Vacation time coming up and things to take care of. This young grizzly was about 100' away on the road bank. This is about the only shot I got with no help from the review mirror and corner post...LOL Talked to a park ranger on down the road and he said he was worried about this grizzly. He was spending way too much time on or near the road. They try to keep bears and people far apart. Anyway, everybody have a great time clicking..see you later....Denny

Wonderful capture Denny...in spite of having to deal with the mirror and the post!! Isn't it fun to at least get the opportunity to see them, and a good photo is a bonus!!! Have you ever gone up to Sequim to the Game Park? The hoofers run loose and you drive through. They mob your car begging for food, and they are pushy. Its a really fun place to drive through, and some beautiful coastal scenery up there too. #6314551

I want to thank everyone for the very nice comments on my photo of the young grizzly! He was just a few miles inside the east entrance and just after we saw two big bull moose. They were deep in the brush, so we didn`t get good pictures of them. If you are in the right place at the right time, they are there to be seen.

Denny... which park? I saw one in Yellowstone but needed the big lens (which I don't have) to get anything decent. Beautiful capture. How exciting and two bull moose... I did get to see two cows on my trip. #6341996

How exciting, Denny! Best to have the camera ready all the time while driving in Yellowstone (?), in case you get in a "bear jam". I never got to see grizzly this close. Great capture and have fun on your vacation, take lots of pictures! #6349476
