Description

Shot at Mercer Gardens on the north side of Houston, Texas this past Sunday. Summer-like weather has returned here and a few of the early bloomers are trying out the warm sun. These twins are Amaryllis 'Papillio'. Shot with the 100mm macro, ISO 400, RAW, minimal post processing--curves and USM.

A very beautiful macro, Murry! It's very elegant with its clean lines, gentle curves and soft color tones. Right now I'd have dig down 5 ft to find the garden and you're shooting photos of blooms. Of course you have to rub it in about the summer-like weather and warm sun also :-) #1027354
