I really had to race against mother nature for this one, if you will notice the storm clouds. We are in the middle of monsoon season where evening thunderstorms are likely. I do think this photo turned out nice, I think it shows the ominous clouds coming over the mountains well. I do think it would have been much nicer if I had a clear evening. I wish that in my hurry to get off the shot I had zoomed in a little more and avoided the barb wire fence in the foreground.

Taken at 730 pm in the Sabino Canyon area of Tucson, manual mode, auto white balance, 1/30 shutter speed, f 18, ISO 400, no tripod, no flash under stormy skies.

Exif: F Number: 6.3, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/30 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 18.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XTi
