Airport AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

Uploaded: December 15, 2004

Description

According to the American Heart Association, with each minute a person is in cardiac arrest, their chance of survival falls by another 10%, i.e., after 5 minutes, there is only a 50/50 chance of survival. A 2 year study in 3 Chicago Airports showed a long term survival rate of 56% of those who had been revived in an airport. The conventional rapid response emergency survival rate was only 5%. There are directions printed inside that anyone can follow. You could save a life :)
