Terry, Thank you; This is straight from the sky and into my camera too. The clear afternoon Autumn light and the angle in which the image was shot really brought out the best of the skys bluest blue. No saturation here. Thanks, I am really happy with it.

Hi Donna and congrats on your POTD! Terrific design, title and fun image!! Reminds me of a time my brother & I were playing baseball in the backyard. I hit a liner over the fence that clipped the neigbors down spout. It dropped down and did a prat fall into the yard. Mr Sherman came out to see what had happened and we all just broke up laughing--including Mr. Sherman :0) #989738

This is very artistic, it reminds me of a modern contemporary painting I once seen in an artist magazine. I like it very creative, it's something how the yellow siding of the house coaxes my eyes up towards the black rectanglular shape(also known as a gutter drain vent), that's what my eyes first see when I glance at it quickly. When I looked up and saw this site, I knew that it was an image that I had to have. This was a time when I knw that I had a great shot. The light was perfect and the color contrast and lines were a graphic abstract photographers dream. It's not like I was out there looking for drain pipes, it just happened to be my focal point because it was there, and it worked.
Thanks. I'm very pleased with the response and I had hoped that it was appreciated as much as I liked it.
