Yokohama Akarenga Sōko

Uploaded: June 22, 2008 07:17:56

Description

Yokohama started as a port city and the building in the photo is known as the Red Brick Warehouse. It was originally used as a customs building from 1913 until 1989. In 1999 they were converted as a shopping mall and restaurant arcade.

Today it is a popular spot in Yokohama for holding parades, cultural events, music competitions as well as a great spot for romantic evening dates.
