Thanks for everyone's comments!... This was sort of a grab shot! We had just pulled up for a bit of a break from our travels when I saw this cottage. This scene just jumped out at me with its strong Primary Colours!

I think what makes this photo succesful for me is the framing by the flowers in the foreground as well as a slightly sideways angle of the subject. I really like this!
