Smoky Sunset Grand Canyon

Description

There were some fires to the west of the Grand Canyon in 2007. Smoke filled the canyon resulting in this great image. While I was working this particular evening, an Ohio church youth group came and sat to listen to their pastor talk and watch the sunset. It was my last evening at the canyon and I was blessed with his message to the youth. He was a very dynamic speaker. He talked about how the glory of God could be seen in the beauty and grandeur of this canyon. He is right. I saw it every single day I was there. Toyo 45c, 400mm, Kodak E100VS. Scanned with a Heidelburg Tango Scanner. Minor adjustments in Photoshop CS3.
