Purple coneflowers blossom over the Current River valley in Missouri. This bluff is known as Devil's Backbone.

Thanks, that means a lot coming from a skilled photographer like yourself. I've been taking photos for more than 30 years, but I still learn new ideas and techniques nearly everyday. One of theses days I will work up the thousands of pictures I have taken, but I just can't stop taking them. This one still isn't exactly what I want. I may need to break out the 4x5 or pop for a tilt-shift lens. My next attempt will likely include a warming polarizer filter. The graduated neutral density filter is very useful for this sort of image. #6028497
