Survivor

Uploaded: November 20, 2004

Description

Thanks to family and friends; doctors, nurses, and researchers; and everyone who suppports breast cancer research. One in seven women will get breast cancer sometime during their life. Thankfully, more of them are also survivors due to advances in medicine and treatment.

Nice shot, Sharon. It must feel good to be a survivor. Here is the address for the Breast Cancer Site. People can go hear for information and to support research.

Steve, Kathleen, and Murry - thanks for the nice comments.

Steve - I am thankful to be a survivor but it would feel better if none of us ever had to become one; hopefully our daughters will not have to face this disease.

And, yes, men are affected too - sometimes directly, but more often through their wives, daughters, sisters, and mothers. #927815
