Very charming! I want to walk right into this. :-) -Jill B #30352Sharon E. Lowe May 26, 2019
Csrol - nice shot of "the most photgraphed street in America". When I was there in the Spring, the house at the bottom of the street was covered in scaffolding (as half of Beacon Hill always seems to be!) so I did a shot the other way - looking up Acorn Street. Thought you might enjoy seeing it. #30372Damian P. Gadal May 26, 2019

Boston captured perfectly! Great lighting Carol! #30402Carol Engstrom May 26, 2019
Thanks Jill, Sharon, Damian, and Lorraine! I'm glad you enjoyed my version of the most photographed street in America. It"s hard to do justice to place like this--it's so amazing in real life--but, this is my favorite of the shots I got of it.Sharon--thanks for sharing your photo. I love the angle and the flowers. Makes it different from all the other shots of this street. I loved Boston--especially all the historical areas. Hope I can see it in the spring sometime. #30420

Carol - I'm glad you like it - I plan to redo it in the near future, assuming the window boxes are decorated for the holidays, which they usually are by now. Spring is a gorgeous time to come to Boston, when we have one! The Public Garden looks so beautiful then! Let me know if you come back to visit and maybe we can meet up - I lived on Beacon Hill for quite a while and know the area quite well. #30516A.Aziz S. Ayash May 26, 2019
Great shot, Carol. #30626Carol Engstrom May 26, 2019
Cathy and A Aziz--thanks for taking the time to comment. The architecture here is beautiful, Cathy.Sharon--How wonderful to live on Beacon Hill. I loved it there. I had a day and a half by myself in Boston before the rest of my family arrived, and I wandered all over Beacon Hill, and the Public Gardens and parts of the Freedom Trail. Took tons of pictures and loved every minute of it inspite of all the snow and the cold wind. You can't tell from this picture, but most of Boston was under several inches of new snow the day I took this. I have a picture of a car almost buried in snow parked in the Beacon Hill area. I was going to take a picture of a man shoveling his car out, but he looked very grumpy so I didn't dare. LOL
When I get back to Boston (I'm saying when-not if) I will get in touch with you. How fun to have a picture taking companion--instead of having everone telling you to hurry up!
