Painting 1
Description: I started by desaturating the original photo by 50% as I wanted "washed out" colors and an almost storm-like effect which was done using angled & sprayed brush strokes, underpainting and canvas which I blended with a stenciled version of the original. Added luminosity and angled light to make it look like a burst of sunshine in front of the general store. Took me a while to get the effect I wanted.
