Hi Bud, nice A570 shots! Great color & contrast in these.

I see most of your shots (on first page at least) are d80... which definitely piqued my interst: I've been shooting w/ an A570 (my first digital) and just bought a d80 (will post first shot from that tomorrow.)

David - Thank you for the feedback. It is appreciated.
I enjoyed your gallery. You have some great shots with your A570. I much prefer the D80 but it is not always convenient to carry it because of the size and weight. In those situations, I try to remenber to take the A570. I am always sorry when a nice shot comes up and I didn't bring a camera. Enjoy your new D80. It is a great camera. Funny coincedence... just finished going thru Ken's guide & setting-up my options :) Not about to pick JPEG Basic (like he does), but most of the other suggestions sound reasonable, so I'm going to try them.

Yes, the A570 is VERY convienient... that's what I bought it for. But, as you have obviously discovered, it can still take a fine pic, even if it requires a bit more work in pp :)

You might want to check out the CHDK firmware enhancement ... it's pretty nice (and free!) Click on your camera link and look at my review (and add your own for the next person :)
