Thanks all for the great comments. Mike is a daily guest at a soup kitchen where I am a volunteer. He is a very talented charcoal artist so we have this art connection. He is, despite his struggles, Very gregarious, and very enjoyable to work with. I am formerly homeless myself and have worked with photographers when I was on the streets. I had very good experiences with these guys. Having been on "both sides" instilled the importance of sensitivity and respect. #898761

This is one of the most captivating portraits I have ever seen. Your detail in his face is amazing. The framing and lighting is perfect. Congratultions on a well deserved place as a finalist, I hope to see this continue on.
